Setting Up Your Organization

Create your account, configure your organization settings, and get your business ready on MoniePilot.

Creating an account

Visit MoniePilot and click "Start free trial." Enter your email, a password of at least 8 characters, and your business name. After signing up you are taken directly to the onboarding wizard, which walks you through core settings before you reach the dashboard.

Configuring organization settings

Go to Settings and fill in your organization name, your local currency, and your business address. These appear on invoices and receipts, so accuracy matters. You can also upload a company logo — it will appear on invoices, payslips, and the online storefront.

Setting your starting cash balance

In Settings, enter your starting cash balance. This is the cash your business held before your first MoniePilot transaction. MoniePilot uses it as the baseline for all cash balance and runway calculations on the dashboard.

Adding your first location

Every POS sale, inventory stock, and employee is tied to a location. Go to Locations and add at least one location (e.g., "Main Store" or "Head Office") before you start selling or tracking stock.
