Understanding Your Dashboard

What each KPI card, chart, and alert on your MoniePilot dashboard means and how they are calculated.

Revenue and Expenses (30d)

Revenue shows the total of all completed POS sales, invoice payments, and imported income transactions in the last 30 days. Expenses shows the total of all expense records and imported expense transactions in the same period.

Net Profit (30d)

Revenue minus expenses for the last 30 days. Displayed in green when positive and red when negative. This is a cash-basis figure — it does not account for unpaid invoices or accruals.

Cash Balance

Your configured starting cash balance plus the cumulative total of all income minus all expenses across all time. This represents your estimated cash position. Keep it accurate by recording all transactions and setting the correct starting balance in Settings.

Cash Runway

How many days your current cash balance will last at the current average daily burn rate. Below 30 days shows in red, 30 to 90 days in amber, and above 90 days in green. A falling runway is a signal to review expenses or accelerate collections.

Charts and alerts

The Revenue vs Expenses chart shows 12 months of monthly comparison bars. The Cash Balance chart shows your 90-day trend. The Risk Alerts section flags issues like negative cash, rising expenses, or revenue decline — each alert links to the relevant module.
