Getting the Most from AI Insights
How AI insights are generated, what the severity levels mean, and how to act on each recommendation.
Generating insights
Go to Insights and click "Generate insights." MoniePilot analyses your revenue, expenses, cash balance, runway, and risk flags, then produces five specific, prioritized recommendations. Generation typically takes a few seconds.
Severity levels
Critical (red): Immediate action required — examples include negative cash balance or runway below 14 days. Warning (amber): Trends that need attention soon, such as expenses rising faster than revenue. Info (blue): Positive trends or optimization opportunities to act on when you have time.
Acting on insights
Each insight includes a "Why this matters" explanation backed by your actual numbers, and a concrete "Next step" you can take today. Work through Critical items first, then Warnings. Re-generate after you have made changes to see whether the insight clears.
How often to generate
Generate insights once a week or after any major change — a large expense, a surge in sales, or a new hire. Insights are only as current as your data, so keep POS, Expenses, and Invoices updated for the best recommendations.
